The Defense Minister and the General Secretary of the government in Chad resigned, as confirmed by an official spokesperson. Their resignations followed the widespread circulation of two distinct sex tapes allegedly featuring the individuals, which were shared extensively on social media platforms.

Prime Minister Saleh Kebzabo has officially acknowledged and accepted the resignations of both Defense Minister Daoud Yaya Brahim and the Government’s General Secretary, Haliki Choua Mahamat. The announcement was made through a statement issued by Kebzabo’s spokesperson, who refrained from providing additional details on the matter.

The videos in question, which surfaced on Sunday and Monday, allegedly depicted the involved individuals engaging in intimate activities with others. attempts to contact either of the men for their comments on the matter were unsuccessful.

In Chad, a predominantly Muslim nation with deeply entrenched conservative social values, instances of sex scandals are infrequent and unusual.
