Tragic Toll Rises: Over 400 Lives Lost, Mostly Children and Women, in Gaza on Saturday

Over 400 Palestinians, including many children and women, lost their lives, with approximately 1500 others injured, as a result of numerous airstrikes carried out by Israeli forces targeting residential homes across various regions of Gaza.

The airstrikes included a series of bombings that struck 10 residential homes in the densely populated area of Deir al-Balah in the center of Gaza. This catastrophic event claimed the lives of more than 80 civilians and left around 250 individuals wounded. Additionally, in Gaza City, 260 Palestinians lost their lives due to Israeli airstrikes in neighborhoods such as Tal al-Hawa, Al-Remal, Shati Beach Camp, Shujaiya, and Az-Zeitoun.

Tragedy also struck Jabalia, where 40 Palestinians tragically perished under the rubble of their homes following Israeli bombardments, along with approximately 10 others in the town of Beit Lahia in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, following attacks on several residences. In Khan Younis, located in the southern part of the Strip, about 20 individuals lost their lives as a result of airstrikes targeting residential buildings.

The Israeli airstrikes not only resulted in a heavy loss of life but also inflicted severe damage to the infrastructure in the affected areas, leaving numerous homes and residential buildings in ruins.
