The Defence Headquarters reports significant achievements in the past week, with 31 terrorists neutralized and 81 others apprehended in operations across North-East, North Central, and North-West regions.

Maj. Gen. Edward Buba, Director of Defence Media Operations, released this information in a statement.

Troops also successfully rescued 10 kidnapped hostages, and 63 Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists and their families surrendered to the military.

In the northeast, Operation Hadin Kai conducted patrols in Bama, Chibok (Borno), and Gujba (Yobe) areas, resulting in the recovery of weapons and the neutralization of 13 terrorists. Twelve terrorists were arrested, and five kidnapped individuals were rescued.

In the North Central, Operation Safe Haven apprehended five suspects and recovered arms, ammunition, and 145 rustled cows.

Furthermore, during a patrol in the Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue, Operation Whirl Stroke arrested two IPOB/ESN criminals on October 1.
