Prominent Imo Journalist NonsoNkwa Arrested by Police

The popular broadcast journalist Chinonso Uba, known as NonsoNkwa, was arrested by the police in Owerri, the capital of Imo State. The arrest took place on Thursday morning, shortly after he had concluded hosting his morning program on Ozisa FM, located at Assumpta Cathedral of the Owerri Catholic Archdiocese.

As Uba was driving his car, he was accosted and detained by the police operatives, who had laid siege to the area. The arrest occurred at the junction of Holy Ghost College Secondary School.
