In a recent ruling at the Free State High Court in Bloemfontein, Dr. Nandipha Magudumana’s bid to appeal her arrest in Tanzania was denied. She had argued that her arrest and extradition from Tanzania to South Africa were unlawful.

However, Judge Philip Loubser ruled in favor of the State’s claim, asserting that Magudumana had consented to her return to the country. Consequently, her appeal was dismissed, and she will be required to cover the costs.

Dr. Nandipha Magudumana is allegedly the main accomplice of Thabo Bester, a convicted murderer and rapist who escaped from the Mangaung Correctional Centre last year. With this latest ruling, her legal battle faces a setback, leaving her in a challenging situation as she deals with the implications of her alleged involvement in the crime.
