Renowned Nigerian gospel film actor, producer, and founder of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, Mike Bamiloye, and his wife, Gloria, are joyfully commemorating their 35th wedding anniversary. On Wednesday morning, Bamiloye took to his Instagram page to express his admiration for his wife, sharing a picture of her and revealing that even after years of marriage, she still affectionately refers to him as “Bro Mike.”

Reflecting on their journey together, Bamiloye humorously shared how his wife had continued to call him “Bro Mike” since their courtship days. He shared an amusing anecdote about their son, who, at just one-year-old, imitated his mother and called him “aa-aa-yite!” instead of the usual endearments like “sweetie” or “honey.”

Despite their attempts to adjust and use different terms of endearment, Bamiloye explained that his wife’s persistent use of “Bro Mike” had become a trademark of their relationship. He fondly recalled an incident where his mother witnessed his wife’s persistent calling and attempted to prove to her that they had tried to change. However, it was when his wife called “bro Mike” that he responded instantly, causing laughter in the room.

With 35 years of marriage behind them and their children happily married with families of their own, Bamiloye admitted that his wife’s endearing nickname had endured. He playfully promised to break this pattern before their 40th wedding anniversary, vowing to find a new term of endearment before their grandchildren start calling him “braaa-hightee.”

On this special milestone, Mike Bamiloye and Gloria celebrate their enduring love and commitment, cherishing the unique bond they share. Their journey stands as a testament to the power of love, humor, and unwavering companionship in a successful marriage.
