The Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos is set to undergo maintenance as announced by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

The closure will last for a period of eight weeks and will specifically affect the international flight dedicated Runway 18R and 36L.

All international flights that were scheduled to use these runways will now be redirected to the domestic wing of the Lagos airport and make use of Runway 18L instead. Meanwhile, the maintenance process will not have any effect on the local flights as they will continue to use Runway 18L for their operations.

As per the statement issued by FAAN, all flight operations will make use of Taxiway B-18L until the maintenance process is completed.
