Several displaced people in the Kanyaruchinya camp have demonstrated to demand better living conditions.
These people have fled the ongoing conflict in Rutshuru territory in the Democratic Republic of Congo to the northern city of Goma.
They are hungry and in need of food, so they demonstrated to express their discontent.
One of the displaced people told the media that they are demonstrating to let people know that the minister and the governor have diverted aid from the head of state and that they have not had access to food since 18 September.
On the conflict in the DRC, French President Emmanuel Macron said a ceasefire was due to take place on Tuesday and implied that failure to meet this deadline would result in sanctions.
