The Swiss newspaper “Tribuna de Geneve” revealed that a former French player, who had played in the second division in the country, and defended the colors of “Lancy FC” and “Igli FC” in Switzerland, had admitted that he killed a 44-year-old man in a drug-dealing gang.
According to the source, the player was to be paid by a man involved in a criminal network that trades drugs on June 16th, 2018. This payment was in exchange for drugs that the player had sold to the man earlier. However, the gangster failed to bring the money, and when he informed the player of this, the player struck the “gang leader” fatally on the head with a baseball bat.
The report added, “The player admitted that he committed his crime, and killed the man in the basement of his parent’s house in the French city of Lyon, but he left the body in Lake Geneva.”
It is important to note that the case is currently under investigation, and the judge has decided to complete all necessary procedures. The verdict is expected to be pronounced between May 9th and 12th in the Criminal Court of Lyon.
Until now, the location of the body has not yet been determined, according to the Swiss newspaper.
