King Mohammed VI is expected this Wednesday in Dakar. His official visit will be an opportunity to sign several cooperation agreements between Morocco and Senegal. Media sources are already reporting a donation of 5,000 tonnes of fertilizers to Senegal.

“It will be an opportunity to draw up roadmaps, formulate responses to the multiple security, economic and social challenges we face and which can only be tackled within the framework of a cooperative and united approach”, affirms the Moroccan ambassador to Senegal, Hassan Naciri to the Senegalese press agency.

The head of Moroccan diplomacy, Nasser Bourita, has also already been received this Tuesday evening by his Senegalese counterpart Aissata Tall Sall

As a reminder, a few days ago, the announcement of this visit had already been made by international media, including Elaph and Africa Intelligence. The King will travel to Senegal after spending several weeks in Gabon, on a private basis, and after having official talks with Gabonese President Ali Bongo. A donation of fertilizers was given in this context. According to Elaph, two projects financed by Morocco will also be inaugurated in Dakar.

This is the fishing village and a vocational training center in the new urban center of Diamniadio, about thirty kilometers from the Senegalese capital.
