Abidjan: Opening of the 4th edition of the “Study India Education” forum

The 4th edition of the forum “Study India Education” was inaugurated in Abidjan, by the Embassy of India in Côte d’Ivoire in cooperation with the structure, the organization TIES

This forum aims to inform young Ivorian students of training opportunities in higher education. Similarly, grants are offered by the Government of India, said the Indian Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire, Dr Rajesh Ranjan.

Mr. Ranjan stressed that this Forum is an opportunity to promote India as the best destination for studies offering quality training at an affordable cost. Indeed, several fields of study are available in India such as engineering, agriculture, technology, computer science and others.

He said that big companies in Africa or America are run by Indians.

In this context, Mr Ranjan noted that this forum is part of a partnership between India and Côte d’Ivoire, since education is one of the pillars of development of the country.

Students said that training in India multiplies the chances of finding a job suitable to the training. In addition, this training paves the way for entrepreneurship in India.
