Paris: conference on Morocco’s potential as an African investment hub

A conference organized at the Maison des Avocats in Paris, on the initiative of the partners of LPA-CGR with the OHADA Africa Commission of the Paris Bar, highlighted the potential of Morocco as a key hub for investment in Africa and its efforts to strengthen its attractiveness and ensure fair competition.

This conference was animated by the president of the Competition Council, Ahmed Rahhou, the world legal director of the LEONI group, Vincent Mercier as well as lawyers from the Paris Bar.

During this meeting, the speakers reviewed the efforts deployed by the Kingdom to facilitate investment to national and foreign businessmen, by guaranteeing in particular a suitable business climate and flexible and encouraging regulation.

Similarly, the speakers returned to the elements that have built Morocco’s reputation as an African hub for foreign investment.

On this occasion, Mr. Rahhou presented the evolution of the Moroccan legal and regulatory context, key elements in investment decisions.
