Marrakech: African diplomats hail HM the King’s vision for promoting South-South cooperation

On the sidelines of the launching ceremony of training on empowerment and capacity building of women from Niger and Mali, held Monday in Marrakech, African diplomats hailed the efforts undertaken by Morocco in the promotion of South-South cooperation in various fields, including training and vocational training, in line with the enlightened vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

Indeed, Niger’s ambassador in Rabat, Salissou Ada, hailed the Kingdom’s efforts in strengthening South-South cooperation in areas related to training and professional and economic empowerment of women.

This training aims at creating a conducive climate for capacity building of women and improving their financial autonomy, targeting 60 beneficiaries from Niger and Mali in the field of traditional sewing and embroidery, the diplomat continued.

For his part, the Malian ambassador in Rabat, Mohamed Mahmoud Ben Labat, highlighted the “fruitful” and “diversified” cooperation between Mali and Morocco, while welcoming the vision of HM the King for the promotion of South-South cooperation, which “finds its meaning through this training session.
