The President of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi El Alami, held talks with the chairman of the Africa Forum at the Korean National Assembly Sul Hoon.
Mr. Sul Hoon is heading a Korean delegation visiting Morocco to explore ways of cooperation between the two countries, as part of the preparations for the Korea-Africa Forum. The Korean ambassador to Morocco was present at the meeting.
During their talks, the two parties stressed the excellent relations between the two legislative institutions and the importance of parliamentary diplomacy to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, especially in the economic and cultural fields.
A statement from the House of Representatives said that Mr. Hoon affirmed that the two countries share the same values of democracy, adding that Morocco is considered a gateway to Africa for Korea.
