The International Federation of history and statistics of football awarded the title of best club coach in the world to Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Walid is the only Arab and African coach in this ranking, in which he outperformed coaches such as Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool coach, (fourth place), and Jose Mourinho, Italian coach of Rome (fifth place).
