A few days before the start of the seventh edition of the African Nations Championship in Algeria (January 13-February 4), the local national team of Senegal continues its preparation.

While they are currently training in Tabarka in Tunisia, Pape Thiaw and his men were allowed to two days of exercise before their match against Niger this Friday, January 6.

In an interview with the media of the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF), the coach of the local Lions, Pape Thiaw, returned to the work carried out by his group since the beginning of the training camp in Tunisia.

“We arrived safely in Tabarka. So far we have had two days of training. The first session allowed us to work on recovery in order to remove the exhaustion of the trip. The second training permitted us to experiment with game systems. We also worked on the coordination between the attackers” said the Senegalese technician in a video posted on the Facebook page of the Senegalese Football Federation.
