2022 was a year in which African footballers shone in all competitions, including CAN, the European Championship, the Champions League, and the World Cup held in Cameroon from January to February.
It is often difficult to let go of 11 African players who have played throughout the year, and such selections are never unanimous. In any case, at the end of each year, Africa SPORTS assembled the quintessential African Team of the Year.

Walid Regragui (Morocco) has made it clear that he has been named the Team of the Year and Coach for great Africa.
