As part of its charity work, the MTN Ghana Foundation has donated over 60 baskets to babies born on December 26 at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.

Mrs Rhoderlyn Entsua-Mensah, the foundation’s manager, told the media that the project is aimed at supporting and celebrating mothers who have given birth successfully on festive occasions like Christmas.

For this reason, the foundation has set up 500 baskets to be distributed in several regions of the country and in specific hospitals. These baskets are dedicated to babies born on Boxing Day.

The baskets consist of clothes, toys, wipes and nappies. These gifts are given every year in order to promote socioeconomic growth.

Apart from this project, the Foundation has initiated several projects in different regions for the benefit of the Ghanaian people, such as the construction of a maternity block, construction of an emergency ward and others.
