Covid-19 is Not Over Yet.. UN Warns

The United Nations has warned that the COVID-19 of which remains a cause for global concern, and also of outbreaks of cholera, Ebola and monkeypox (known now as Mpox).

UN said that these epidemics led to the mobilization of health and relief workers to contain diseases and save lives.

The World Health Organization confirmed that Covid-19 remains a threat, with one million related deaths recorded by August.

The Director-General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus urged countries not to give up taking precautions.

Ghebreyesus confirmed that Covid-19 is not over yet, « I know this is not the message you want to hear, and it is certainly not the message I want to deliver ».

The goal of eliminating HIV / AIDS by 2030 is in danger, according to the United Nations, but it confirmed that a new vaccine against malaria raised hopes that it could be overcome.
