On the occasion of the 30th edition of the Dakar International Fair (FIDAK), the Moroccan Ambassador to Senegal, Hassan Naciri, presided over a Morocco Day, organised last Friday, under the theme “Morocco Now, the catalyst of South-South partnership”.

This day, held in the presence of Moroccan and Senegalese entrepreneurs and economic actors, was marked by a speech by Ambassador Naciri, who highlighted the exemplary relations between Morocco and Senegal and stressed the importance for Africa to becoming aware of its potential resources, exploit them and multiply partnerships and cooperation in order to achieve development.

Mr Naciri added that the Kingdom’s action at the level of the continent is focused on cooperation with African countries, under the enlightened vision of His Majesty the King, who has contributed to the implementation of major projects, such as the gigantic Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline (NMG) project that will link these two countries through several West African states.

In the same vein, Mr Naciri called on African entrepreneurs to seize the investment opportunities that will be offered with the launch of the African Free Trade Area (AFTA).
