Visit of Mr Talbi Alami to Austria to strengthen parliamentary cooperation

The President of the House of Representatives, Mr Rachid Talbi Alami is on a working visit to Austria from December 14 to 17, at the invitation of the President of the Austrian National Council, Wolfgang Sobotka, aiming at strengthening parliamentary cooperation.

A statement from the House of Representatives said that the visit comes within the framework of the commemoration of the 240th anniversary of Moroccan-Austrian relations and that it is the first visit of its kind at the Arab and African level to the Austrian Parliament.

During Mr Talbi Alami’s visit, the focus will be on the parliamentary friendship between the Moroccan House of Representatives and the Austrian National Council and the means to strengthen the parliamentary cooperation between the two countries through the sharing of expertise and best practices in the parliamentary field.

Similarly, the Moroccan experience in the framework of the 2011 Constitution and especially the issue of the Kingdom’s territorial integrity and the major projects launched under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, would be exposed to the Austrian side.
