Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a congratulatory letter to the King of Morocco and the Regraguis’ children for making a big challenge by moving to the semi-finals of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
In a tweet posted on Monday, Buhari pointed out that Morocco made the whole African mainland proud with their team’s excellent performance, giving hope that an African team can certainly win the FIFA World Cup.
For his part, Garba Shehu, his special assistant for media and publicity, added that the Nigerian president salutes the Moroccan team for its talents and team spirit while attributing this victory to the exemplary role of Moroccan leaders in building a great team.
