The participation of Slovenia in the 10th Summit of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States in Angola, represented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia Tanja Fajon, was an opportunity to discuss cooperation between Slovenia and Africa, especially in the field of protection of women’s and children’s rights.
In a statement, Tanja Fajon said that Slovenia has actually increased development and humanitarian aid to several African countries.
Tanja Fajon added that the European continent needs to get closer to African countries in order to face the challenges related to climate change, energy and security.
