Cameroon: Mapping to improve the fight against gender-based violence

In Cameroon, activists fighting gender-based violence are working in scattered classes, that’s why it is important to bundle energy more efficiently in the 10 regions of the country. One of the most promising ways is to create a national map of this scourge.

Cameroon wants to step up its response to issues related to the protection of its population, especially victims of gender-based violence.

Based on this project, the World Bank is supporting the Ministry of Women and Family Advancement in mapping gender-based violence-related service providers in Cameroon as part of a multisectoral intervention in Cameroon

Therefore, it is necessary to map domestic service providers. The official launching ceremony for the program will take place in Yaounde on 7 December 2022 as a bystander of his 16 days of activism against violence against women and girls, and from 25 November each year to his 12, It was celebrated until the tenth of the month.
