Morocco will face Spain on Tuesday as the last African team to qualify for this World Cup in Qatar. Fans pick up the Atlas Lions jersey in this qualifying-soaked country.

Hopes are high and many believe exploits against their Mediterranean neighbours are possible:

“We want to win this match and all Moroccans to be happy. The whole world will be happy. Long live Morocco Players are our voice.” I hope we can win 3-0,” said an excited young fan.

The Lions are united in Doha around coach Walid Regragui, who took home a group victory ahead of the excellent Belgian and Croatian teams. The entire team will feature defending Achraf Hakimi against attacking Hakim Ziyech.

Confidence is also appropriate for the Spanish side. Roja, his second-best attack in the tournament thanks to the first card (7-0) against Costa Rica, credits his star as Barça defender Alejandro Balde. But candidates from Guinea-Bissau discredit Moroccans’ aggressive potential:

“We are ready for this game. The team believes in our chances. We are ready for Tuesday and we will give everything to win. We’ve proven that since the start of the Cup.” He is a world-class winger and one of the best Moroccan players. It’s up to us to keep an eye on him.”

The winner of this match between Morocco and Spain will play the winner of the conflict between Portugal and Switzerland later in the evening. Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner logically remain favourites against breed emboli’s ‘Nati’.
