A mosque in northern Nigeria on Saturday night was attacked by gunmen, killing dozens of worshipers, including an imam, and kidnapping other people.
The country is witnessing the presence of armed gangs known as bandits, who attack communities where security is tight, kidnapping people for ransom, and killing others.
Furthermore, the armed gangs asked for fee protection from the villagers, and fees to allow them to plant and harvest their crops.
