At only 19 years old, Hawa Diallo, known as Black AD and revealed to the general public through her song “Mali”, is the winner of the RFI 2022 Discovery Prize, among the 10 finalists.
Hawa Diallo, a young Malian singer-songwriter, born in 2003 in the city of three Caymans, Bamako, and known as Black AD, is the new winner of the 2022 RFI Discovery Prize.
In an interview with the Young Malian singer, Hawa Diallo, with “Bladna24eng”, she said that she is very excited to create her new album, especially an international one so that everyone can listen to her own artistic songs.
Furthermore, the young artist stressed that she welcome the idea of making a Moroccan-Malian album, because diversity has a huge importance in creating a big audience worldwide.
On the other hand, Hawa added that her latest win is a very important event in her life, “this win will provide me to have many other opportunities, and when I want something I got it”, Hawa said.
