Starting next week, Balearia will connect Motril and Tangier Mediterranean ports daily, enhancing cargo services from southern Spain to Morocco and North Africa.
With a capacity of 1,100 linear meters of load, the Volcán de Tauce de Baleària ferry will leave the port of Motril every day at 12:00 pm to the Moroccan port of Tangier Med where it will leave at 11:59 pm to return to Motril.
This new connection allows «to widen the offer of transport of goods of the marine company in the strait and the Alboran sea», said Maximiliano Bermejo, director of the cargo of Baleària, the main objective being “to ensure high reliability and competitiveness with schedules and frequencies adjusted to customer needs”.
