Mali’s Transitional President and Head of State Colonel Assimi Goita received Minister of National Education, and Sports Chakib Benmousa in Bamako on Friday to deliver a message from King Mohammed VI.
In a statement made at the end of the meeting, he said in the presence of Driss isbayene, the King’s Ambassador to Bamako, that His Majesty King Mohammed VI had delivered a message of brotherhood and friendship to the President of Mali.
In the message, the sovereign reaffirmed to the Malian authorities his desire to develop the historic and special relationship between the two countries, the minister said.
The Royal Embassy also noted the Kingdom of Morocco’s willingness to further strengthen cultural, economic, military and security cooperation with Mali to contribute the regional stability, Benmoussa added.
