United Nations: A Moroccan soldier in the international peacekeeping force was killed in an attack in Central Africa

The United Nations announced today, Friday, that a Moroccan soldier in the international peacekeeping force was killed in an attack in Central Africa.

More than 1,700 Moroccan peacekeepers are currently in UN missions in the Central African Republic, Sudan, South Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Last June, two Moroccan peacekeepers were killed in the southeastern Central African Republic.
