Qatar is close to exiting the World Cup after defeating Senegal

The Qatari national team came close to bidding farewell to the World Cup finals, after suffering a second successive loss, at the expense of the Senegalese national team, with a score of three goals to one, in a meeting that brought the two sides together at the “Al Thumama” stadium.

The Senegalese took the initiative to score, through striker Boulaya Dia in the 41st minute of the first half, then boosted the score with a second goal in the 48th minute.

The owners of the land tried their quest to score the first goals, which came within the 78th minute through substitute Mohamed Muntari.

However, the “Teranga Lions” team settled the result, with a third goal in the 84th minute, bearing the signature of the player Bamba Diang, so this result remained steadfast, until the Spanish match referee, Matthew Lahos, announced its end.

Coach Aliou Cisse’s men kept their chances in international competitions, knowing that he lost the last match against the Netherlands, and the next Ecuador match will be the faction, in determining the possibility of the African champion being in the 16th round.
