British authorities have mobilized a budget of around AED 51.3 billion to support trade ties between the UK and Morocco.
UK Export Finance, the government agency dedicated to promoting UK exports, announced the mobilization of £4 billion (approximately AED 51.3 billion) in a statement on Wednesday 23 November 2022. The European Union plays a special role in facilitating trade between the UK and Morocco.
The loan is made available to Moroccans buying goods and services from the UK, provided that at least 20% of their purchases are from UK companies.
Morocco offers UK companies a range of opportunities to boost the national economy with new transport links, especially energy transitions, water desalination, infrastructure projects, rail, roads, ports and airports,” too.
