King Mohammed VI addressed today, a written message to the Mauritanian President, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, representing the strong historical relations and relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and Mauritania.

Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani received a written message, which was brought to him by the Special Envoy of King Mohammed VI, Minister of Employment, Younes Skoury after he was officially received at the Presidential Palace in the capital, Nouakchott, accompanied by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco accredited to Mauritania, Hamid Chabar.

The Mauritanian News Agency quoted an envoy of King Mohammed VI as saying that “the meeting was an opportunity to review the distinguished relations between His Majesty the King and his brother, His Excellency the President, as well as between the Kingdom of Morocco and the sisterly Islamic Republic of Mauritania,” noting that “the relations between the two countries are not only distinguished at the economic levels.” And social, but in fact, it is an extension of a common history, as well as an extension of a special love that unites the Mauritanian and Moroccan peoples.

Younes Skoury continued, saying, “Morocco has always been on the side of Mauritania, through distinguished relations marked by solid foundations, based on mutual respect and a strong and real strategic partnership based on important and promising sectors, which concern the two peoples and the concern of the two countries,” noting that “the future will be known, God willing.” Continuity and impetus for this already distinguished relationship between the two countries.
