“Forsa” Program Achieves 100% of Initial Goals

The Ministry of Tourism, Crafts, Social and Solidarity Economy has announced that the Forsa program has achieved 100% of its original objectives.

The program has so far funded more than 10,000 of its promoters, exceeding the original goal, according to a ministry press release.

This achievement was made possible by the convening of more than 400 Community Funding Committees spread across the country between August and October 2020.

Young people who carry out funded projects, the central objective of the program and the majority category, are mainly active in various sectors such as trade, tourism, crafts, services and agriculture.

Female promoters have also been a priority target group since the program’s inception. They have distinguished themselves throughout their remarkable careers through the selection, training and support process.

Women-led projects make up 20% of the funding awarded, in line with the program’s commitment to promoting entrepreneurship in her group of female targets.

The overall performance of the program was enhanced by the mobilization of all partners of the programme, including her more than 60 businesses her incubators and her seven financial institutions recruited by the Moroccan Institute of Tourism Engineering (SMIT) It should be noted that Supporting project promoters to provide quality funding dossiers and enable them to gather favourable feedback.
