The England team beats its Iranian counterpart

The England national team crushed its Iranian counterpart, 6-2, in the match that brought them together today, Monday, in drawing the first matches of the World Cup group stage, for the second group.

The England team’s six took turns being scored by Bellingham (D35), Saka in each of (D43) and (D62), in addition to Sterling in (D45 + 1), Rashford in (D71), and Grealich in (90D).

While the two goals of the Iranian national team, player Mahdi Taremi, scored in the sixty-fifth minute of the match, and then in the thirteenth minute of extra time calculated from the life of the second half.

The match also witnessed the addition of 14 minutes, as extra time in the first half, which is the longest time added in the World Cup, after Iranian goalkeeper Hussein Hosseini was injured in the twentieth minute.

With this victory, the England team topped Group Two, with 3 points, pending the match between the United States of America and Wales, while the Iranian team was at the bottom of the group standings.
