Two Moroccan tourists among the victims of the Istanbul bombing

The Consulate General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Istanbul announced that two Moroccan tourists were among the wounded victims of the explosion in Istiklal Street in the Taksim district of Istanbul, Turkey.

The consulate statement affirmed that as soon as it received this information, it went to the hospitals in order to check on the condition of the two Moroccans.

The first female suffered fractures in her legs, and she’s currently undergoing surgery in a local hospital, while the second woman’s injury does not require her to be transferred to the hospital, according to the consulate statement.

The same source added that “the consulate will continue to closely monitor the situation of Moroccan citizens in Istanbul and take the necessary measures in this regard.
