The Turkish Vice President said, in a press statement this evening, Sunday, that a female suicide bomber was behind the attack on Istiklal Street in Istanbul, close to the famous “Taksim Square”.
After the bombing, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that the incident left 6 dead and 58 wounded, and that “the identity of the perpetrators of this despicable attack will be revealed so that our people will be sure that we will punish the perpetrators.”
