The Hospital Center University Hassan II in Fez witnessed the birth of Siamese twins conjoined at the chest and abdomen levels born by a caesarean section.
The female twin is under medical care in the hospital nursery, after they were born in the eighth month, while the mother went home after her health improved from complications of medical intervention as a result of the caesarean.
Medical staff in the hospital clarified that the conjoined twin was born with one heart and two livers, noting that this case was discovered when the mother joined the University Hospital Center in Fez while she was pregnant during the 29th week of the ultrasound examination.
