In preparation for the high-level meeting to be held at the beginning of next year, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, met Friday with his Spanish counterpart, Jose Manuel Alparis.

On this occasion, Bourita and Alparis addressed the issue of progress made in the road map signed between the two kingdoms, during the visit of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez last April.

Through the high-level meeting, Spain and Morocco intend to advance the roadmap and deal with outstanding bilateral problems, including, the point of the “border” with the occupied cities of Ceuta and Melilla.

Bourita had confirmed last October that “all the working groups have been activated with many of the elements that have been implemented, and all commitments contained in the road map will be respected and implemented,” adding that “the two partners will also provide sufficient time to prepare a parliamentary forum and a businessmen forum, and mobilize All actors in this relationship.”
