According to the same source, online payment activity using Moroccan cards increased numerically from 36.2% to 19.5 million transactions and from 20.7% to 6.4 MMDH.
The Centre also reported an increase in the online payment activity of foreign cards from 61.8% to 904,000 transactions for an amount of 606.1 million dirhams (+89.8%).
The activity remains very strongly dominated by Moroccan cards with 95.6% in the number of transactions and 91.4% in amount.
