International media sources reported that the transport sector workers in Spain will go on a strike, which will last for days to protest the high cost of living and the low level of wages.

According to RTVE, the union of workers in the transport and communication sector in Spain decided to go on strike on the 14th of November, in protest against their living conditions, and their dissatisfaction with the high fuel prices.

The same sources add that the Spanish workers are upset about the Spanish government’s neglect to respond to the compensation rule that was agreed upon last March in light of the truck drivers’ strike that lasted 20 days.

According to the same sources, this law guarantees compensation for workers in the transport sector for the losses resulting from this rise in the standard of living in their country.
