Corps Chief Belkhir El-Farouk, the inspector general of the royal armed forces (FAR), which commands the Southern Zone, spoke with Vice President of the United States Joint Chiefs of Staff Christopher W. Grady at the Pentagon on Monday.
“Communication between the two officials focused on security cooperation, strengthening military readiness, and other areas of mutual interest,” said the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee. He added that the United States and Morocco have strong bilateral military ties that can contribute to stability and security in North Africa.
