The successes of the Moroccan film “Mithaq” continue, as it was recently selected to represent Morocco at the Film Festival in Italy, within the official competition of the 11th edition of the International Film Festival, in the Italian city of “Asti”, which is expected to be organized from November 29 to December 4 this year.
The festival’s organizers informed the selection of the film “Mitaq”, directed by Hussein Hanin, to represent Morocco in this cinematic event, among a group of films that were nominated to compete for the festival’s prizes.
In the same matter, the film received a balanced participation in the 26th edition of the International Film Festival “Rhode Island” in the United States of America, which allows for the International Academy Award.
It should be noted that Mithaq was crowned a few days ago with three major international awards, at the Fifth International Film Festival in Ouled Taima, the Tenth International Film and Sahara Festival in Bassa Zag, and also an international festival in France. It also recently won the Best Actor award. Saad Darif won it in the official competition of the Kobani International Film Festival in its third edition, which was held in the German city of Bochum.
Furthermore, the film has also received large participation in a number of national and international festivals, in India, Australia, France, Lebanon, Spain, Italy, the United States of America and Belgium, where it won a number of major awards.
