The launch of the 10th edition of the International Green March Motorcycle Tour was given on Tuesday in Taza, in commemoration of the 47th anniversary of the glorious epic of the Green March.
The departure of this Tour was given by the governor of the province of Taza, Mustapha El Maaza, at the level of the square on 20 August, to the city of Erfoud.
This event, organized at the initiative of the Club Royal Motos, and which will continue until November 10, has the participation of 121 bikers representing several countries including the United Arab Emirates, Belgium, the United States, France and Saudi Arabia.
This 10th edition aims to make the national cause known, defend the values of tolerance and solidarity and promote national tourism.
This international tour will cross several cities, starting from Taza, through Erfoud, Zagora, Tata, Assa, Guelmim, Tantan, Smara, Laâyoune, Agadir and Essaouira, the last stage of this event.
In a statement to the MAP, Hicham Bennani, president of the Royal Club of Motorcycles indicated that the 10th edition of the International Tour of Motorcycles of the Green Walk, was marked by the change of his usual course, choosing the city of Taza for the start, The event was attended by 13 women. And Mr Bennani continues that the tenth edition is an extension of the previous editions, which were marked by the organization of activities celebrating the national unity and the attachment of Moroccans to their southern provinces, adding that Taza’s choice for the start of this Tour comes after the organization of the club of several medical caravans and social activities.
