1,300 cardboard plates were used to design a replica of the Clock Tower, which was made by students of art and architecture schools. An ephemeral work, the result of a partnership between GPC Papier et carton, the French institute and artist” Oli vier Grossetête”.

This architectural project took shape during an event open to the public that gathered thousands of visitors in downtown Casablanca.

The design of this reproduction of the Clock Tower is the fruit of the talent of the specialist in the creation and demolition of monumental works participative,” Olivier Grossetête”. The supplier of the raw material, GPC Paper and cardboard has also made a replica of the door “Bab Mansour” that is more than 4 metres high. A challenge that required more than 10 tons of recycled cardboard and engaged the GPC teams for a whole month.

This artistic initiative is also part of an ecological approach since the cardboard used for this construction will be completely recycled by GPC paper and cardboard, on its site in Kénitra.
