South Korea confirmed: No Moroccans among Seoul victims

The Moroccan Embassy in South Korea denied that there was any Moroccan among the victims of the tragedy that happened in Seoul on Saturday night.

the Moroccan embassy urged in a press release all members of the Moroccan community who live in Korea to contact Korean authorities.

The embassy published its phone numbers in the press release in order to facilitate communication with it: the land phone number is +82-2 792 7097, and the cell phone number is +8210-31537-7097.

Seoul Halloween celebrations left more than 150 dead, dozens injured and 355 missing people, According to The Seoul Metropolitan Government.
Yonhap News Agency reported that the sudden rush of the crowds celebrating Halloween into a narrow alley with a width of 4 meters, caused hundreds of people to be surrounded and unable to move or escape, which caused some of them to fall, die and get injured.

Among the victims, were foreigners from 13 countries, 4 of them from China and Iran, 3 from Russia, and one from the United States, France, Norway, Australia, Vietnam, Austria, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
