The SAS: Rogue Heroes executive producer Karen Wilson, Revealed where filming of the mini-series takes place coinciding with its premiere.

The executive producer stated that the BBC series was filmed in Morocco, and she said that being able to film in Morocco was crucial, According to Metro UK.

Filming of the SAS coincided with the quarantine period in Morocco, Wilson describes this difficult period saying that on top of Covid the team was feeling isolated.

After closing the borders, the SAS makers were trying to find a way to get the rest of the team into the country, and then Wilson added that everybody that got on the plane that went to Morocco knew they going to stay there for several weeks.

Wilson said that she became quite emotional during that time because the team were real heroes.

SAS: Rogue Heroes is 6 episodes BBC new drama taking place during World War II, Created by Steven Knight and starring Connor Swindell and Tom Glynn-Carney.
