The Secretariat General of the Arab League denied In an official statement having any “media partners” covering the 31st Arab Summit, which is being hosted by Algeria, and confirmed that it has no connection with any media organization claiming this thing.
The denial statement comes after the Algeria International Channel AL24 News published the map of the Arab world on its website contrary to what is stated by the League of Arab States.
The General Secretariat confirmed that the Arab League does not adopt an official map on which the political borders of the Arab countries are shown and that it adopts a map of the Arab world without showing the borders between countries in order to support the concept of Arab unity.
The General Secretariat also warned all media to be very careful in attributing the information published on their websites to the Arab League or its institutions.
