Morocco builds a “northern” military zone to face all the Kingdom challenges

Morocco has built a new military zone in the northern region, aims to fight against smuggling and immigration.

The establishment of the Northern Military District of the Royal Armed Forces was officially announced in an official ceremony During an official ceremony headed by Admiral Mustafa Alami, Inspector of the Royal Navy, and General de Brigade Hassan Al-Rida.

The establishment of this zone comes with royal instructions in order to face all the Kingdom’s challenges including immigration and activities related to smuggling.

Hoceima city was chosen to be the headquarters, and General Hassan Al-Rida was appointed as the first commander of the northern military region.

The General Command of the Royal Armed Forces has provided all human and logistical capabilities to start working in this military region.
