A human rights body helps the Saharawi population’s belongings rights to Land

The Moroccan executive office of the Citizenship and Human Rights league condemned in its statement, what it called “The policy of expropriation of land from the Saharawi population” because of the tension it can cause and raises in the region.

According to the association’s statement, these protests come after ” the state property management tried to registration the lands for its favour against the property rights to Land and giving the Moroccan Sahara people their legitimate rights.

The Moroccan League of Citizenship and Human Rights called on the head of government to “urgently intervene to stop this process and to announce a national committee to discuss how the Sahrawi population can keep their lands.

Furthermore, the commission affirmed its locally and centrally support for property rights to Land issues for the Moroccan Saharan tribes.
